A whole of 13 compounds have been identified in the pattern which corresponds to Fig. 6 and the screened phytoconstituents have been supplied in Table 2. Of these compounds, ethyl .alpha.-d-glucopyranoside, hexadecanoic acid, and octadecanoic acid have an active role in the suppression of skin roughness in opposition to ultraviolet B radiation, antibacterial, and antioxidant exercise respectively .
